SENIOR ADVENTURES TERMS AND CONDITIONS

I. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & RESPONSIBILITY

  • Senior Adventures acts solely as a Travel House / Tour Operator and does not have control over airlines, railways, shipping companies, hotels, coaches, local transport providers, or any third-party services.

  • The company is not responsible for delays, deficiencies, or service failures caused by external agencies.

  • Opening and closing timings of tourist attractions are subject to local authority rules and are not under company control.

No Liability Clause

  • The company shall not be liable for any loss, injury, accident, death, delay, breakdown, natural calamity, or irregularity during the tour.

  • Any additional expenses arising due to changes in train, flight, bus, ship schedules, weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine, or other unforeseen circumstances must be borne entirely by the passengers.

Third-Party Services

  • Senior Adventures acts only as a facilitator and bears no responsibility for damages or deficiencies caused by airlines, hotels, railways, or transport providers.

Force Majeure (Pandemic / Natural Calamity)

  • If a tour is cancelled due to uncontrollable events such as pandemics or natural calamities, the recoverable amount will be held as a Credit Shell for future bookings.


II. ACCOMMODATION, GROUP SIZE & ITINERARY

Accommodation

  • Accommodation is generally provided on a Twin-Sharing basis in standard rooms.

  • The third bed, if applicable, will usually be a roll-away mattress.

Single Traveller Policy

  • Single travelers may be paired with another passenger.

  • If sharing is not possible, a Single Supplement Charge will apply.

Minimum Group Size

  • Tour costs are calculated based on a minimum group size, which varies by destination.

  • A reduction in group size may lead to changes in cost, vehicle, or services, and any difference must be paid by the passenger.

Company Rights

  • The company reserves the right to alter, postpone, or cancel the tour due to unavoidable circumstances or non-availability of services.

  • In case of cancellation by the company, a full refund will be issued, but no compensation will be provided.

Passenger Responsibility

  • Any damage caused to hotel rooms, vehicles, or property during the tour must be paid by the passenger.

Travel Insurance

  • Travel insurance is not included in the tour cost unless specified.

  • Insurance costs vary depending on age and coverage and must be purchased separately.


III. TRANSPORTATION & TICKETING

  • In case of flight or train cancellation, delay, or rescheduling, refunds or penalties will be strictly as per the carrier’s policy.

  • Any additional expenses such as rebooking, accommodation, or meals due to such issues must be borne by the passengers.

Emergency Decisions

  • During emergency situations, Senior Adventures reserves the right to take necessary decisions for the benefit of the group.

  • Any additional costs incurred during such situations will be clearly explained and must be paid by the passengers.


IV. HEALTH, CONDUCT & JURISDICTION

Health & Fitness

  • It is the passenger’s sole responsibility to ensure they are medically fit to travel and participate in tour activities.

  • Passengers must avoid activities that may not be medically suitable for them.

Passenger Conduct

  • All travellers are expected to cooperate with staff and fellow passengers.

  • Misconduct or disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the tour without refund and possible legal action.

Jurisdiction

  • Any disputes arising from the tour are subject to Ernakulam Jurisdiction only.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Tour Cost vs Third-Party Charges

  • Cancellation charges apply only to the main tour cost.

  • Flight and train tickets are cancelled as per airline/railway policies.

2. Pre-Paid Charges & Permits

  • For high-demand tours, accommodation providers may levy cancellation charges before the free-cancellation period. Such charges will be deducted from the advance payment.

  • Fees paid for visas, permits, or other documentation already applied for are non-refundable.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellation requests must be communicated as early as possible.

  • Approved refunds are processed in the next calendar month after cancellation confirmation.

No Refund Clause

  • No refunds will be provided for unused services, including meals, sightseeing, or activities.
